Governor Gavin Newsom’s (D) approval of the latest absurd law was the final straw for billionaire Elon Musk in California, who expressed his exhaustion on X.

Musk declared that he is relocating the corporate offices of his aerospace manufacturing and space transportation business, SpaceX, and social networking firm, X, from California to Texas.

Musk made the following post on X:

“This is the final straw. Due to the aforementioned legislation, along with several others that targeted families and businesses, SpaceX has decided to relocate its headquarters from Hawthorne, California, to Starbase, Texas. About a year ago, I did let Governor Newsom know that policies like these would compel people and businesses to leave California in order to save their children.”

Musk alludes to AB1955, which would prohibit schools from requiring parental notification if a child identifies as transgender. That is a grave mistake. The officials in California believe they are in charge of the children today. Newsom and his friends think it’s OK to hide information from the kids’ guardians or parents. They are conveying a message by passing this absurd measure.

Musk then provided his supporters on X with further justification for his decision to relocate the social network company’s headquarters:

“It’s getting old to have to avoid violent drug-addicted gangs just to enter and exit the building.”

Musk relocated the Tesla corporate office from Palo Alto to Austin in 2021.

Tim Kennedy, a UFC fighter, advised parents to pull their kids out of California’s public schools.

Gavin Newsom will keep lying to the public, and most media will believe him. Newsom would argue that although small businesses are struggling to stay afloat due to increased prices and crime, the California economy is thriving. Although he has stated that he is a fervent advocate for public education and that the state doesn’t need school choice, he sends his kids to private schools, which is totally OK. However, don’t deprive other kids and their families of the chance to select the school of their choice.
