The Democratic-run city of New York intends to utilize billions more tax dollars to pay for the tens of thousands of hotel rooms that illegal immigrants would occupy. This discovery coincides with shocking proof of widespread criminal infiltration of the United States through unauthorized immigration.

According to the New York Post, NYC intends to enter into agreements with hotels to accommodate undocumented immigrants in 14,000 hotel rooms for at least until 2025. Over the last three years, it is estimated that the cost of harboring illegal immigrants has exceeded $2.3 billion, with $5.76 billion spent on migrants altogether. A large portion of the money is being spent on hotels that Americans can no longer stay in. Democrats certainly enjoy using American tax dollars to fund criminal foreigners.

The Manhattan Institute think tank’s senior fellow Nicole Gelinas said, “The taxpayers can’t pay for this indefinitely. By the end of the year, we ought to cease using hotels as shelters. This is particularly critical because, according to recently released data, there are over 660,000 illegal immigrants in America who are criminals, including over 13,000 killers.”

The Post claims that the total cost of housing the undocumented immigrants in NYC each night, including the $130 that is paid to the hotels, is $352. In NYC, almost 150 hotels house illegal immigrants. However, Americans are finding it difficult to get by. It makes sense that Donald Trump’s event in New York City was well-attended. We can only hope that more people in New York will realize they are being taken advantage of.

“The New York City Dept. of Homeless Services is wanting to continue the City Sanctuary Facility program by finding a vendor who can help in acquiring the use of large scale hotels to help deal with the current emergency,” the Post reported from the updated Dept. of Homeless Services message.

The New York City Hotel Association and the city already have three contracts. Maybe the department should concentrate on American homeless people instead.

Although there are plans to significantly reduce the cost of hosting migrants, the fundamental idea is that Americans shouldn’t have to pay any money at all to house illegal aliens. It’s completely ridiculous.
