Since the election of Democratic Vice President Kamala Harris and President Joe Biden in January 2021, Americans have been suffering from the growing expense of basic commodities.
The Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis has data showing that during the Biden and Harris administration, prices for food, rent, and power have trended upward.
Grocery prices have increased by 22.6%, rent has increased by 23.2%, and power has increased by 28.3%.
It is noteworthy to mention that Harris is running for the White House in 2024 alongside her running mate, radical leftist Gov. Tim Walz (D-MN), against former President Donald Trump (R) and his running mate, Sen. JD Vance (R-OH).
According to Breitbart News, in August, Biden implied that Harris is the owner of “Bidenomics” and that he would not veer from the policies that caused the inflation that beset the United States.
Biden stated that inflation was over the sky when he took office during a White House news conference in April, but a Breitbart News fact check revealed it to be untrue.
“When Biden assumed office, inflation was not out of control. In January 2021, Biden took the oath of office and the consumer price index had increased by 1.4% over the previous year. The next month had a 1.7% increase.”
“The personal consumption expenditure price index, the measure used by the Federal Reserve as the basis for its two percent inflation target, was up 1.6 percent in January 2021 and 1.8 percent in February.”
Trump focused his September remarks on the inflation that has made it difficult for many to make ends meet in the present economic climate, according to Breitbart News.
In a social media post, he highlighted the costs of coffee, salmon, potatoes, milk, ham, poultry, cheese, and eggs, and contrasted them with those under Biden and Harris’ administrations.
The outlet claimed that the previous president called it “The Cost of Kamala” and informed social media fans that while coffee cost $6.99 under Trump, it is now $9.99.
