A Reuters/Ipsos study of 4,415 people found that 54% of Americans think immigration under President Biden is making life more difficult for everyone.

Only 34 people disagreed, including only 29% of independents.

The study shows a quick nine-point change from July to September. This is because Biden’s migrants are flooding into big cities in search of jobs, schools, and homes.

In July, Reuters revealed that “around 48% of participants expressed agreement with the notion that immigration is making life more difficult for Americans who are native-born, while 37% disagreed and the remaining respondents were unsure.”

Rob Law, who runs the Center for Homeland Security and Immigration, said that this change was shocking.

He said, “The survey captures the reality that regular Americans experience, which is the pressure of widespread immigration—both legal and illegal—pressing down on their salaries. People in the U.S. are pointing their finger at the wide-open borders and policies that encourage mass migration, which were put into place by the Biden administration.”

“There’s a chance to get more people to vote Republican if the nominee makes these issues very clear,” he said. “Not just the dire need for border security, but also the bad effects on American workers’ wallets.”

A poll got answers from 54% of people who were asked, “How much do you either agree or disagree concerning any of the following statements? – Immigration has made life harder for Americans who were born here.” Only 34% did not agree.

Crucially, 27% of Americans strongly believed that immigrants make life harder for those who were born in the United States. 4 out of every 10 Republicans and 25% of independents are in that 27 percent. Just 1 in 6 people strongly disagreed. It’s important to see how many people said “strongly” because that shows how individuals are most likely to vote on the problem during an election!

For GOP supporters, this topic is very important.

“To what extent will each of the following influence your vote in the upcoming election, if at all?” was the second question posed. “For Americans who were born here, immigration is making life more difficult.”

It was chosen by 10% of Republicans, 8% of independents, and 5% of Democrats as “Most important—the only issue that I actually care about.” On the other hand, 7% said guns were the “only issue that they truly care about.”

That’s another 46% of Republicans, 33% of independents, and 24% of Democrats who chose “Very important.”

“Not at all important” got only 10% of the votes.
