I already wrote about the WaPo/ABC poll that showed former President Trump ahead of Joe Biden by ten points.
Some people believe it could be an outlier because most polls show the race to be much closer.It might not come as a surprise, though, to hear how angry people were about the economy when ABC talked to them. This is a big reason why Biden did so badly in the polls. It’s important to me that you understand how bad those numbers are.
Rick Klein of ABC says, “Americans say they don’t feel good regarding the economy, and Joe Biden “gets the blame.” “Only 30% say they agree, while 64% say they don’t. This is what ABC referred to as “a career low.”
They were also angry about how much gas cost. The average across the country hit $3.88 this week, which is the highest it has been all summer. Eighty-seven percent of Americans don’t like how much energy costs now that Joe Biden is president.
Most of the time, 87 percent won’t agree on anything, but they do in this case. That proves how bad it is.
It’s not enough to tell people how great things are going and make up nice, fluffy things about Bidenomics. They know that under Joe Biden, food and gas prices have gone up a lot, which has hurt their wallets. They trust you far less when you do that. That’s what the president has been doing. They think he does not care about what he is doing or even know what he is doing.
This is what ABC says: “Americans do not buy it.”
There are 74% of people who say it’s “not very good” or even “downright poor.” That’s a bad number, especially since they want this person to run for office again.
We remember things for a long time. They know that things were significantly better under Trump compared to under the current president. Gas was cheap, and Joe Biden has spoken out against the energy business. When people ask them about their own money, they know that conditions have gotten a lot worse.
44% of people in the US say they aren’t as rich as they were before Biden became president. As far back as the Reagan era, Klein stated that these were “the worst numbers we’ve ever seen” in polls on this subject.
Klein said, “These numbers are just crazy for the sitting president.”
People used to say, “It is the economy, stupid.”
That is a simple fact that Biden along with the Democrats can not get around.
